This plot shows Distinct Structures deposited in PDB vs time for each of the four PSI LSCs, and the CESG, a specialized
center that has contributed many structures in the PSI program. "Distinct Structures" have sequences with < 98% seq_id
with any other structure in the PDB on the date of deposition. Multiple crystal forms or nmr/xray pairs count only as a
singleDistinct Structure. |

| |
Since nmr/xray pairs have unique scientific value, the plot shows numbers of Distinct Structures deposited vs time
counting a nmr and xray structure individually (dotted lines). These NMR/Xray pairs of the same protein, while not formally
"Distinct Structures" have unique value for methods development projects, and provide unique insights into structure-function-dynamic
relationships.
|

| |
This plot shows Total PDB depositions vs time for each of the four PSI LSCs, and the CESG. Total Depositions count
each pdb entry; e.g. four crystal structures of a protein bound to 4 different ligands counts as 4 Total Structures.
In this case NMR/Xray pairs count as 2 Total Structures. The entire PSI Program will complete ~ 5000 Total Structures
by the end of Yr 10.

| |
This plot shows Distinct Structures of Human Proteins deposited in PDB vs time for each of the four PSI LSCs, and the CESG.
Distinct structures have sequences with < 98% id with any other structure in the PDB on the date of deposition.
|

| |
This plot shows Distinct Structures of Eukaryotic Proteins deposited in PDB vs time for each of the four PSI LSCs,
and the CESG. Distinct structures have sequences with < 98% id with any other structure in the PDB on the date of deposition.
|

| |
This plot shows Distinct Structures of Proteins determined by NMR, deposited in PDB vs time for each of the four PSI LSCs,
and the CESG. Distinct structures have sequences with < 98% id with any other structure in the PDB on the date of deposition.
